Made in Michigan (Live Animals)

Join us at 6:00 pm, on Thursday, November 6, at the Howard Branch Library for a great program about Michigan made products. This unique program by Bergman Farm features live goats, chickens, doves, geese and more. This interactive program is very exciting! This program is FREE and open to the public. It is suitable for all ages.

Farming has been the second largest industry in Michigan for many years. Learn more about Michigan agriculture, recycling, organic farming, livestock, and composting at this interactive program. All of the animals in the program have been born and bred in Michigan. Some of the animals you may meet include: Kiki the Silver Appleyard Duck, Violet the Dwarf Nigerian Goat, Toffee the Pygmy Pigeon, and more.

Michigan Made Products from the Bergman Farm will be available for purchase following the program. These items include: jewelry made from molted feathers, goat milk soap, maple syrup, and recycled feedbags that have been made into handbags and aprons.

This program has been sponsored by the Kathyrn Sehy Memorial Fund. The Howard Branch Library is located at 2341 Yankee Street in Niles, Mich.
